A versatile, dark gray building stone that has been used in many applications throughout the Portland Metro area. It’s available in many different shapes, sizes, and thicknesses. Wall Blocks by Willamette Graystone
Structural retaining walls, elegant seating walls, beautiful free-standing walls, and custom barbecue surrounds are just some of the applications for wall blocks. Durable, versatile, and easy to use, they come in many different sizes, shapes, and colors. Standard sizes and colors are stocked at our distribution center and non-standard items are usually available within 1 – 3 days of order date. Boulders, Wall Rock & Columns Enhance a Beautiful Landscape Design
Boulders refer to large rocks weighing over 250 lbs. The common size range that we stock is 250 – 2500 lbs. Wall Rock generally refers to smaller random pieces of rock used for accent pieces and retaining walls. They are more irregular than other building stones and generally weigh 25 – 150 lbs. Columns are usually oblong pieces of rock that can be used either vertically or horizontally for bubblers and landscape accents. They range from 1′ – 12′ in length, with diameters of 12″ – 30″. Longer columns can be special ordered.

Columns and bubblers can lend beauty and elegance to any landscape. The columns are most commonly used as bubblers, benches, entryways, gate posts, engraved markers, or simply set as structural pillars that draw the eye and add interesting visual scenes. Boulders can also be drilled to make beautiful bubblers for those who are more interested in a random or less geometric design. Birdbaths are great in gardens and as accents for any location. Columbia River Slabs – Generally 2′ – 4′ in diameter and 4″ – 8″ thick. Weight approx 400 – 1500 lbs per piece. Highland Steps 6″x12″x16″ – Available in Gray or Walnut Blend. Curbstone – Generally square and rectangular pieces. Avg 12″ – 18″ x 5″ – 8″. Natural Stone Risers & Flagstone – Flat stone overlaid by a piece of flagstone.
