Variegated Flagstone

Also known as Pennsylvania Bluestone, this popular and versatile sandstone is available in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and textures.  It’s one of our most popular flagstones. The most common type is often referred to as “Variegated” or “Full Color” Flagstone, which refers to its beautiful mix of green and brown colors.   Other special order colors are Blue and Lilac.

Special orders are common with PA Bluestone, as the quarry industry back East has developed a wide assortment of tools, saws, and manufacturing processes that can produce almost anything you ask for.  Bluestone can be cut to size, polished, honed, flamed, split, tumbled, . . . almost anything you want, it can be done with the Bluestone.

Available in stock:

  • Variegated Flagstone 1″ – 1 1/2″ – for dry set and mortared paths and patios

Special Order:

  • Variegated Precuts – Dimensional sawn squares and rectangles for dry set and mortared paths and patios. (picture shown at right)

Tumbled Bluestone Cobbles

Another part of the PA Bluestone line, the Tumbled Bluestone Cobbles work great for pathways and small patios.  The smooth surface and rounded edges give it a softened look that you don’t often find in natural stone.  It is a consistent 2″ thick which makes installation quick and easy.
